Accessibility Statement

1. Our commitment

Atomos Technologies is committed to making this website usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or the technology they use. We regard accessibility as a design and engineering requirement rather than a remediation task, and we hold the software we build for clients to the same standard.

2. Conformance status

This website is designed and built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA. We believe it substantially conforms to that standard.

"Substantially conforms" means the standard is met throughout, with the possible exception of isolated issues we have not yet identified. If you find one, please tell us — see section 6.

3. Measures we take

• Semantic HTML with a correct, non-skipping heading hierarchy on every page
• Full keyboard operability, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element
• Colour contrast meeting or exceeding WCAG AA at every text size used
• Interactive targets of at least 24 by 24 CSS pixels (WCAG 2.2 success criterion 2.5.8)
• A skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on every page
• Text alternatives for all meaningful images; decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology
• Full respect for the prefers-reduced-motion setting, with a static alternative for every animation
• Content that does not depend on colour alone to convey meaning
• Forms with associated labels, clear error messages and programmatic error association
• Content that reflows without horizontal scrolling down to 320 pixels wide
• No content that flashes more than three times per second

4. How we test

• Automated accessibility checks run in our build pipeline on every change
• Manual keyboard-only navigation of every page and interactive component
• Screen reader testing on key flows
• Colour contrast verified at design-token level, before implementation
• Testing at 320, 360, 768, 1024 and 1440 pixel widths, and at 200% and 400% zoom
• Verification with the operating system reduced-motion setting enabled

5. Known limitations

We are not aware of any outstanding Level AA conformance failure at the date of this statement. Where a limitation is identified we will list it here with an explanation and a target date for resolution, rather than removing it from view.

6. Reporting a barrier

If you encounter anything on this site that you cannot access or use, email care@atomostechnologies.com with the subject ACCESSIBILITY. Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using if you know them.

We aim to acknowledge within 3 working days and to respond substantively within 10 working days with either a fix or a timeline. If you need information from a page you could not use, tell us and we will provide it in an accessible format in the meantime.

7. Formal complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the relevant authority in your jurisdiction. In India this is the Chief Commissioner for Persons with Disabilities. In the EU, your national enforcement body. In the UK, the Equality and Human Rights Commission. We would appreciate the chance to resolve the issue directly first.
